Marilu Martinez was raised in Northern California. In 2019, she moved to Las Vegas as a union organizer and helped organize a large local laundry. She became a union representative and helped negotiate several contracts for the Mission laundries and Marmaxx distribution warehouse. After leaving the union, Marilu worked in customer service for a bank and for a local medical transport company. Marilu loves cooking and baking and is very proud of her Mexican heritage. Her free time is spent with her family, especially her two grandsons who are the loves of her life!
